McCreary retrospective at Middle St.

The exhibition of paintings and drawings by Rectortown artist Phyllis McCreary will continue at the Middle Street Gallery through August.

The exhibit, which is composed of large landscapes and figure drawings, may be viewed during regular gallery hours, Thursday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The public is invited to stop by.

Performances at Gay St. Theatre

Live theatre comes to Washington in RAAC’s presentation of four short comic pieces by the HBW 3 Group, a professional theatre troune from D.C.

Forever, Ever, by Magda Zalan, The Obscure Reing of Gains Julius Jacoccus, by Bart Whiteman, Bikini from Mars, also by Whiteman, and Long Days Journey Into Ice, by Robert Piggott, will be presented at Gay Street Theatre at 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 15. Tickets are $4 for students, $6 for RAAC members and $7.50 for the general public.
