Mrs. Heavey is a native of Birmingham, Ala. and lives with her husband, a retired naval officer, in Bethesda, Md.
All clubs in Shenandoah District are asked to support Operation Wildflower by bringing hemerocallis, daffodils and Siberian Iris to the meeting for the Virginia Department of Transportation to plant. Bring bulbs in paper bags or boxs marked with name of the Garden Club, count and contents. The club bringing the most bulbs will be presented an award by our Roadside Council Chairman Mrs. W. Russell Wilkerson.
