Surprise
birthday
celebration

Sunday, September 27 was a big celebration day for Frank E. Jenkins of Richmond. It was a surprise birthday celebration for Frank with the entire family joining in at the Sperryville firehall. Approximately 75 guests were present.
Everybody’s birthday usually includes cake and presents and family and friends, but Frank’s was extraspecial with musical entertainment provided by “Yates & the Gang.”
The group includes his wife Yates and her sisters. Margaret Bright, Rachel Jenkins and Shirley Frye Hitt.
The group was backed up by a fantastic band consisting of his nephew Greg Bright, his friends Peter Marx and Tim Brown.
Special thanks go to Jimmie and Marti Cannon for making a video of the entire celebration as a lasting memory for Frank.
It was a “Birthday to Remember.”
