To the Editor:
The Rappahannock Athletic Association would like to thank everyone who donated money and time to the R.A.A. for its baseball season. This year we were able to buy new uniforms for all the kids and also some new equipment. The Rappahannock Woman’s Club donated money from their fashion show which we used for some safety equipment, and also a group of parents made cakes and raffled them off for money for some T-Ball safety equipment.
We would like to thank our sponsors who were: Masters Inc. of Maryland; W & J Grocery of Sperryville; Hillsdale Grocery of Massie’s Corner and The Rappahannock Lions Club for their generous donations. -
We also had some personal donations we would like to acknowledge.
