Registration will begin at 8 a.m. on the first day of each conference, with the programs running from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day.
A special farm tax workshop will be taught by L. Leon Geyer, Tech associate professor of agricultural law and economics, and by Extension farm management agents, at selected conferences. There is no charge for the workshops if the participant is registered in the regular conference. The farm workshops will begin at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 16 in Richmond, Nov. 30 in Fredericksburg, Dec. 3 in Blacksburg, Dec. 7 in Williamsburg and Dec. 16 in Natural Bridge. A participant may be registered at any of the programs, not just the one at which the farm program is being conducted.
A forestry tax workshop also is being held at selected sites. 'Riis will focus on forestry investments and will cover such subjects as capital expenditures, forest management expenses, depletion, reforestation incentives, treatment of timber income, interaction with cost-share payments and casualties.
