A busy year!

Urcatock Club
I’m 15 years old and I’ve been active in 4-H for 5 years. I am a member of the Livestock Club.
This year was especially busy for me. In February I went to two teen weekends at the 4-H Center in Front Royal. One was a teen retreat and the other was a teen leadership training program.
This summer was very busy indeed. At the end of June I went to Virginia Tech for 4 days to the 4-H State Congress.
Congress is a wonderful experience. The purpose is to have each county in the state send delegates, so that the people who go can meet others from all over the state.
This year I went on a scholarship I won at a District 4-H competition. My category was Meats and Meat Substitutes. I did a demonstration on wholesale and retail cuts of beef entitled “The Where and How of Beef.” To win a scholarship you must receive a blue ribbon at the
