William E. Walther, son of
Jessie Walther of Amissville is receiving training at Lackland AFB, Texas after enlisting in the United States Air Force. William was graduated from Rappahannock County High School in 1967.
The Rappahannock Rescue Squad begins its fall fund drive this week and contributions will be appreciated. There will not be a house-to-house canvass at this time, but donations may be sent to Mrs. B. R. Armel, Washington, Va. The squad travels many miles on numerous calls and operating expenses must be met. The squad is on call 365 days and nights a year, so for the. next 20 days heed their call for support.
