Much of this can be traced to the more than 600,000 volunteers who are at the heart of the 4-H program. 4-H is one of the brightest examples of the American ideal of personal commitment. It’s a special alliance - a growing and nurturing movement laying the foundations of an exciting future for America.
Is there a greater challenge than preparing our young people for the responsibility they will inherit? I don’t think so. That’s what 4-H is all about. 4-H’ers are preparing for a vibrant, opportunity-filled tomorrow.
Exciting days are just ahead. Young people in 4-H, with the help of some dedicated adults, will be ready when tomorrow gets here. The young people, adults and sponsors of 4-H are seeing to it that America will be in good hands.
