Panther homecoming Saturday
The Rappahannock County High School will celebrate its fall Homecoming this weekend with at soccer match against cross-county rival Wakefield School on Saturday at 2 p.m. The game will be a second chance for RCHS, which dropped a close match, 2-1, several weeks ago at Wakefield's Homecoming. Friday night, from 7:30-8:30 p.m. there will be a bonfire and pep rally at the high school. All students, parents and friends of the Panthers are invited to attend. On Saturday night, from 8-11, there will be a Homecoming Dance at the high school.
Fall back to standard time
A semi-annual ritual will be observed this weekend across the country as Americans regain that hour of sleep they lost in April. Sunday at 2 a.m. marks the official end of Daylight Savings Time, and means relief for those early risers who get up before the sun. Don't forget to set your clocks back one hour before going to bed Saturday night
