- Are Rappahannock County School Board members getting an education at each school board meeting? Yes, in fact school boards all over Virginia are receiving an inservice at every monthly meeting, according to Superintendent David Gangel.
The Standards of Quality For Public Schools in Virginia states that “each local school board shall require its members to participate in inservice programs on personnel, curriculum and current issues in education as part of their service on the local board.”
