PUBLIC NOTICE DUMPSTER SITE CLOSINGS ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 31, 1988, the dumpster sites at Amissville and Castleton will be permanently closed. County residents should take their trash to either the Huntly or Scrabble dumpster sites or to the landfill facility itself, which will open to the public on that day. White goods (refrigerators, stoves, freezers, etc.) tires, construction debris and scrap metal may only be disposed of at the landfill site during normal hours of operation, 7:30-3:30, Monday-Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. The landfill is located one mile east of Amissville, left on Rt. 639 and seven-tenths of a mile in on the left.
