Others to consider the flu who are anyone over age 65 years of age or older, medical care givers (doctors, nurses, aides), residents of nursing or adult homes and those who work with the public such as school teachers.
If you would like to receive this vaccine or find out more information please contact your doctor, or the Rappahannock County Health Department by calling 675-3516 or 6753055. The health department charges a 85.50 fee. If you have Medicaid and bring your card, there will be no charge. The vaccine will be given Wednesday Nov. 16, 1 p.m.-4:30 p.m., or call the health department for an appointment.
