In the past year topics of interest have been presented by people ranging from the superintendent and assistant superintendent to principals, vice principals, teachers, counselors and students. The board has also seen videotapes of programs and issues of concern to Rappahannock County schools and they have taken tours of new facilities at RCHS and the elementary school.
In-service activities may also include seminars developed cooperatively by the Department of Education and the Virginia School Boards Association, attending regional, state and national conferences and conventions, workshops, retreats, guest speakers and participating in trial bus routes.
