Equipping school buses with radios provides a community benefit as well. For example, persons stranded or injured on county bus routes that need immediate care or vehicle assistance can have messages dispatched by the bus drivers. The community and schools can help each other.
The PTA is offering a cash award of $25, $15, and $10 to those three most energetic children who raise the largest amount of money.
Some RCES students have put forth a great effort to raise money for this worthy cause, however, parent support is badly needed.
