Since August 1987, Dr. Gangel said, the Rappahanncok Board members have become more knowledgeable about the following topics because of the in-service session: State Accrediation Standards, gifted/talented program, special education, RCHS athletic program, personnel process, SAT preparation program, staff development research, new state testing program, state’s family life curriculum, the six-year plan, teacher certification, RCES computer lab, remedial education and AIDS.
