Tai Chi Chuan classes

A new beginners’ class will start March 1 for Tai Chi Chuan. Classes run from 7-8 p.m. at The Child Care and Learning Center and cost is $30 per month. Call 636-3078 to register as space is limited.

Scrap benefits class trip

The Rappahannock County Elementary School and RALLY urge county residents to continue to save their aluminum beverage cans. Although the county recycling day has been suspended temporarily, on Saturday, April 1, during County Beautification Day, cans will be collected to benefit the seventh-grade Class of 1990’s trip to Williamsburg. Preschool film program

A preschool film program will be held at the Rappahannock Library March 1-29 at 10 a.m. each Wednesday. For additional information or to register call the library at 675-3780.

Indoor craft show planned

The Floyd T. Binns PTO’s second annual Think Spring, Indoor Craft Show is Saturday, March 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The school is located on Main Street in Culpeper. Lunch and baked goods will be available. Call 825-3623 for information.

Barbecue dinner at RCES

A barbecue dinner to benefit the Rappahannock County Elementary School, its PTA, and the seventh-grade class trip to Williamsburg will be held at the school on Saturday, Feb. 25, from 3-8 p.m. Tickets for the $5 dinner, which will include barbecue, cole slaw, french fries and pie, are available from all fifth-, sixth- and seventh-grade students, and at the door. “To-go” dinners will also be served.
