Wakefield Country Day School’s students in grades 3-6 will leave early next week on a four-day trip to Quebec, Canada, where they will sightsee and attend the Winter Carnival. The students, accompanied by six teachers, will travel to Canada by Amtrak, leaving Washington’s Union Station at 6 p.m. on Tuesday and arriving at Montreal’s Windsor Station at 10:45 Wednesday morning.

Mechanic Airman William C. Lancaster Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Lancaster Sr. of Boston, is currently deployed to the Mediterranean. He is a member of Attack Squadron 176, based at Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia Beach, Va., and currently embarked aboard the aircraft carrier USS Independence.
