the Child Care and Learning Center are sponsoring a family art workshop using recyclable trash. From 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, artist Laurie Marshall will be at CCLC to provide guidance for those wanting to try their hand at this art form.
Pieces created by students will be eligible for RALLY’S Recycled Art Contest (see above) and adults are encouraged to submit their creations to Middle Street Gallery to be exhibited in its Recycled Art Show, which will be displayed at the gallery during the last two weeks in April.
The cost for the workshop will be $10 per person, or $15 per family. The workshop is BYOT (Bring Your Own Trash). To register call 6753267 or 675-3810.
