ine Virginia Council on the Status of Women invites the public to tell what it thinks about the issues women will be facing in the next decade at four regional meetings to be held in March, April and May.
Connie C. Gendron, Council Chairman, explained, “The purpose of the meetings is to set an agenda for the '90s and to invite organizations and individuals to help us identify the most important issues. We want to learn the innovative ways communities in the Commonwealth have addressed issues such as child care, teen pregnancy and employment opportunities for women, and hear suggestions on the solutions to these and other problems.”
