Mamie Smith
Mamie Florence Smith, 85, of Syria, died Feb. 16 at her residence.
Mrs. Smith was a native of Madison County and the daughter of the late Robert “Bob” and Martha Sisk Jenkins. Her husband was the late Norris Smith.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Thelma Meadows and Mrs. Luna Woodward, both of Criglersville and Mrs. Marie Smith, Syria; three sons, Judd “Jr.” Smith and Hugh R. Smith, both of Syria and Earl E. Smith, Orange; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
