"Homeopathy: Its Definition and Its Role in Modern Medical Practice.” Mr. Winston will help the attendees understand homeoptahy and how herbs play a role in its practices.

Renee Chewning of Chick Cove Herb Farm in Deltaville will discuss “Herbs in a Healthier Diet.” Mrs. Chewning will explain how to use herbs in place of traditional seasonings in our food preparation.

The afternoon program will emphasize marketing, sales and advertising. Peggy Alexander of Arvon Grove Herbs, Bremo Bluff, Va., will explain “Marketing, Advertising and Sales” of herbal products. The concluding presentation, “Marketing Your Product: Wholesale vs. Retail” by Tom Wolfe of Smile Herb Shop, College Park, Md., will help the audience understand the pros and cons of wholesaling and retailing herbal products.

An herbal show and sale will also be included in the conference. Among the herb-related exhibits will be live herb plants, dried herb and flower products, potpourri, culinary products and T-shirts.
