Heifer sale March 31

There will be a special heifer sale at the Fauquier Livestock Exchange in Marshall on March 31 beginning at 7 p.m. This sale will be for Bred and Open Heifers. Nominations will close on March 1. Contact the Marshall Feeder Cattle Association, Box 247, Marshall 22115 for nomination forms. The phone number is (703) 364-1566. Copies of the sale requirements may be reviewed at the Rappahannock County Extension Office in Washington.

Spring soccer registration

Registration for the spring soccer season will be March 1 at RCES from 3:15 to 5 p.m. and on Saturday, March 4 at the Amissville Methodist Church from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. All children in grades K-7 are welcome. Cost is $15 per child, $25 for two and $30 for three or more in the same family. For more information call Vinnie Camev, 703-9878440.

Creative drama for children

Two drama classes for children will be offered by RAAC and the Golden Key Performance Group on Mondays for six weeks from March 6 to April 10. The RAAC-sponsored class will be taught by Laurie Marshall at the Gay Street Theater for children ages 5-8. It will meet from 3:30-4:30 and cost $30. Call 675-3267 to register. Golden Key’s class will be taught by Cathy Kiley at Washington’s Town Hall for young people ages 9-18. It will meet from 3:30-6:00 and cost $40. Call 987-3106 to register.
