WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Sen. John Warner (R-Va.) has been named “Minute Man of the Year” by the 120,000-member Reserve Officers Association, which cited Warner’s outstanding contributions to national security.
Previous recipients of the association’s highest award include presidents Truman, Kennedy, Ford and Reagan and senators Jon Stennis, Strom Thurmond and Sam Nunn.
