According to Jqsus in the 24th chapter of Matthew, verse 22, this 2,000-year cycle will not run its full course. “. . . For the elect’s sake, those days shall be shortened.” In verse 39 of that same chapter, in comparing the end of this era to what happened back in the days of Noah, Jesus said they: . . knew not until the flood came and took them all away.”
That’s probably how it will be when the earth is cleansed this time by fire. Most people will probably be so invovled in the cares of this lif slumbering as it were, paying lit... or no attention to what’s coming until its too late to even pray.
It might help matters some, and wake people up and turn them to God, if folks would cut this article out and get copies made and mail them to unsaved friends and loved ones.
