Lions move meeting site
With the sale of the Corner Post Restaurant, the Rappahannock Lions' Club is moving to a new location for its semimonthly dinner meetings. Beginning Wednesday, March 8, the club will hold its semi-monthly meetings at the Schoolhouse Restaurant in Flint Hill. According to a club spokesman, this is only the fourth time in more than 30 years that the Lions have moved their meeting site. Meetings will continue on the second and fourth Wednesdays, beginning with a social hour at 6:30 p.m., and dinner following at 7 p.m. The spokesman reminded members that they are expected to attend all meetings. The club's Tail Twister will greet all members at the meeting on March 8.
