Visitors to the Middle Street Gallery have, over the last several years, seen a continuous presentation of works by a broad range of Rappahannock County artists.
Viewers of our current exhibition will find work of artists from Moscow to Toronto, LA to Boston, and points in-between. The Gallery “Artists and Friends” show will feature the work of several gallery members and some of their many friends who are artists.
Try a sampling of computer graphics by Mary Carnahan, produced with a Macintosh II computer and laser printer. Also, look for colorful baskets by floraculturist and artist Lyn Beaver, who’s deep sense of color combination easily transfers from artistic flower arrangements to colorful basket forms.
More tones will be added by watercolor artist Davette LeonardKvames with her most recent piece, a portrait of her 3-year-old daughter. We are privileged to show an example of Alan Berkowitz’s luminescent photographic images. Bruce Wetteroth enjoys the challenge of new ways of putting colors and gems together which shows in the two fine pieces shown.
