Joanne Singleton

Mrs. Joanne Singleton, 49, of Amissville, wife of Robert Beverly Singleton, died Feb. 24 at Fair Oaks Hospital, Fairfax.

She was a native of Washington, D.C., and the daughter of Rose Lee Moore of Edgewater, Md., and the late Joseph Brown. She was an employee of Fairfax Hospital.

Besides her husband and her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Cecilia Ann Marlor, Boston and Felicia Ann Horn, Culpeper; two sons, Robert Beverly Moore, Amissville and William Melvin Singleton, Culpeper; and six grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Feb. 27 at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home. The Rev. Gordon George officiated. Interment was in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers were William Kinamont, Kenneth Marlor, Ronald Horn, William Wolf, Floyd Arthur and Steve Settle.

William Ogden Hudson, 79, a retired supervisor of the former Thompson’s Honor Dairy, died of cancer Feb. 13 at Fairfax Hospital.
