At last Thursday’s meeting the Board of Zoning Appeals approved a special use permit for Etta Swatman to, operate an antique shop in an outbuilding on her property in Amiss ville.
With election of officers also on the agenda, Sidney Gotlieb moved that Mr. Bird remain as chairman, Louis “Butch” Zindel as vice chairman, and Mr. Swindler as representative on the Planning Commission if he is willing to continue. Before taking the vote which passed unanimously, Mr. Bird said that since he has only two more years on the BZA, he definitely wants to step down as chairman next year.
