COMPREHENSIVE PLAN Notice is hereby given that the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors intends to hold a public hearing to consider adoption of the Rappahannock County Comprehensive Plan. Said hearing will be held on Monday, April 3, 1989, at 7:00 p.m., at the Courthouse in Washington, VA Copies of the plan are available for inspection in the office of the Rappahannock County Clerk of the Circuit Court and in the Building, Zoning, and Administration Office, or for sale at $3 00 per copy at the Treasurer’s Office, in Washington, VA. The Comprehensive Plan is the guiding document for all land use planning decisions in Rappahannock County, and the basis for zoning and subdivision authority. The document under review is a revision, required under state law, of the current Comprehensive Plan, adopted in 1980. The Rappahannock County Planning Commission, which is responsible for the preparation and recommendation for adoption of the document, will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, March 15,1989, at 7:30 p.m., at the Courthouse in Washington, VA. Upon their final action, the document shall be acted upon by the Board of Supervisors. All interested persons are invited to attend one or both of the hearings and to make comment. Persons who are unable to attend, or who wish to make only written remarks, are invited to send such comments to the Rappahannock County Building, Zoning, and Administration Office, P.O.. Box 222 Washington, VA 22747, for inclusion in the record.
