The Sperryville United Methodist Church held their official board meeting last Monday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers. Those present were the Rev. Merlin Shorb, Hugh Chrisman, Catherine Brown, Annabelle Swindler, Emma Swindler, Polly Aylor and Margaret Ann Wayland.

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Swindler and Mrs. Lee Swindler visited Russell Swindler at Culpeper Memorial Hospital on Saturday.

Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Lee Swindler and Annabelle Swindler were Mr. and Mrs. Jim Swindler, Jimmy, Margaret Devers and Margaret Ann Wayland.

Bethany Meade of Charlottesville spent several days with her grandmother Mrs. T.M. Johnston. She returned to her home on Saturday night.
