Mr. Hudson was bom in Rappahannock County. He was the son of the late Emmett W. and Anna Brown Hudson. He lived most of his life in Arlington. After his retirement he moved back to Culpeper County. In late 1988 he moved to Falls Church to be near his family.
Mr. Hudson was an active member of Culpeper United Methodist Church until he moved to Falls Church. He then reunited with Dulin Methodist Church.
He was a Past Master of Kemper .64 A.F. & A.M. Masonic Lodge, and a member of Fairfax Lodge . 43 A.F. & A.M. and Acacia Chapter .51 O.E.S. He was an active member
of Salem Ruritan Club, Salem, and a past member of Arlington Optimist Club.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Pauline Smith Hudson; a daughter, Nancy H. Field; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
