To the editor:
I would like to express my disappointment that there will be no spring soccer program in Rappahannock County. Dr. Gangel, the coaches, the assistant coaches and I have explored every possible option we could think of to schedule, on an equitable basis, the limited number of fields available. Next fall we will again have soccer for players K thru eighth grade, as there won’t be any scheduling conflicts.
Every child in this county should be able to play the sport he or she excels in or simply enjoys. And it is my personal opinion that if a county as small as our has over 200 children who want to play any sport, in this
