Hampton District Supervisor Mike Massie said that the rate the county is getting from the bank (for the CD’s) is very competitive, “but they’re not liquid.”
“This is only the second or third time this has happened,” Piedmont District representative Charles “Pete” Estes pointed out. “It’s not a monthly occurrence.”
