Artists and Friends
Middle Street Gallery is hosting its third annual gallery Artists and Friends Show, which will be a survey of art from Moscow to Toronto, LA to Boston and points in-between. The public is invited to the opening presentation of 40 artists’ works on Saturday, March 4 from 37 p.m. The gallery will also present new photographs by honorary member Edik Gladkov of Moscow. The exhibit will run through March 26. Gallery hours are Friday-Sunday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. or by appointment. For further information call 675-14440.
Contest deadline extended
The deadline for entries in the county-wide Recyclable Art Contest has been extended until Thursday, April 13, when they may be delivered to the Middle Street Gallery from 3:30-6:30 p.m. Winners in the student division will be announced at the opening of the Recycled Art Show on Sunday, April 16 at the gallery. The Rappahannock County Post 1150 will meet on Tuesday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the VFW in Sperryville.
Anesthesia options explored
“Anesthesia Options” will be the subject of a free health forum at Culpeper Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, March 28 by the hospital’s chief of anesthesia, Dr. Michael Russell. The program will start at 7:30 p.m.
