Miss Utility
Potomac Edison has recently added eight Virginia counties to the Miss Utility service, which locates underground cables and electrical equipment for builders and contractors free of charge.
Now, builders and contractors in Rappahannock, Albermarle, Culpeper, Greene, Madison, Orange, Page and Rockingham counties should call Miss -U|iSty *oH-free at (800) 552-7001 at IdaSt 48' Hours before digging or trenching. Previously, Potomac Edison’s Luray office helped to locate underground equipment.
Virginia state law requires all excavators to notify Miss Utility, or any utility that may have underground facilities in the area.
