Class of ‘64 plans reunion
The Rappahannock County High School's Class of 1964 is tentatively planning its 25th reunion in early June. Members of the class are urged to contact Mike Brown (703 987-8027) or Frank Moffett (703 675-3259) for further information as soon as possible. "This will be a very special occasion," Mr. Moffett said, "and we hope that all members of the .-class and their families will be able to attend." Spring soccer cancelled
The scheduled-registration for the spring soccer league, which was to be herd
the Amissville fire hall on Saturday, has been cancelled. According to league commissioner Vinnie Carney, scheduling difficulties forced the league to cancel its spring season. She promised, however, that the league will return in the fall, offering soccer to boys and girls in kindergarten through grade seven. Slaughter’s rep will visit
Jane Clatterbuck, the district representative for Seventh District Congressman D. French Slaughter Jr., will visit Rappahannock County on Wednesday, March 8. Mrs. Clatterbuck will be at the county courthouse from 10:3011:30 a.m. Residents with problems or concerns of a federal nature, or who wish to express their opinion on matters under consideration by the U.S. Congress, are invited to stop by and speak with Mrs. Clatterbuck.
