Bridgette Suzanne Scott and Rickie Jaye Rutherford, both of Culpeper, were united in marriage Oct. 21 at Alum Spring Baptist Church.
The Rev. William E. Wilkins performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Ola • Mae Scott and Gene E. Scott of Cul__ peper. The groom is the son of Jack • Rutherford of Rixeyville and Jim . and Dyanne Holt of Reva. He is the • grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harry J. Rutherford of Castleton and the late Athey and Gloria Sisk of Amissville.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father. She wore a formal gown of white satin. The bodice and long sleeves were beaded with pearls. The full-length gown extended to a chapel-length train. Her head piece was a long veil beaded with pearls, with aj satin and lace crown.
Carolyn M. Scott of Culpeper ; was the maid of honor. She wore a rose formal with a v-neck and back and puff sleeves. Bridesmaids were Melissa K. Scott, Christina Scott of Culpeper and Amber Corbin of Madison. They wore light-pink formals identical to that of the maid of honor.
