2 lbs. pork butt (medium ground)

Add the meat to the 6-quart cookpot. Saute the following ingredients in a little Wesson oil:

3 cups onion (finely minced)

2 T. fresh garlic (finely minced)

Add mixture to 6-quart cookpot, along with the following:

1 cup green chiles (chopped)

Then add:

1 can <20 oz.) Hunt’s tomato sauce

Bring the pot to a boil and add:

1 can Old Milwaukee beer

Simmer uncovered for about 11/2 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Let stand for 1/2 hour, and skim off excess grease. Correct seasoning to taste. Thicken with Masa Harina in warm water to suitable consistency. Cover and let stand one hour before serving.
