When we sit down to an abundance of food on Christmas Day, let us not forget the hungry and unwanted animals that might be right outside our decorated houses. Let us not forget that Shirley Minton takes such animals and feeds them before she feeds herself. Christmas dinner for the Mintons will be very simple, but there won’t be any cold and hungry cats outside their door begging for warmth and food. Maybe, after all, the Mintons have captured tHe true reason for this season.

When the Creator of all creatures looks down and sees some of man’s callousness toward helpless animals, we cannot help but wonder - does He cry too?
