Many people take advantage of the unselfishness of the Minton};. From June 1 through Oct. 20, 140 cats and kittens were brought to the shelter by 51 different people. Of those, only 19 brought donations or small amounts of food. The donations totaled $204.
Would it be asking too much of Santa to pay the Mintons and the cats a tax-deductible visit?
At the Minton home, Christmas will not bring parties, decorations, gifts, fancy food or twinkling lights. We can only hope there will be something more for them than a silent night and a bleak shelter future.
