Mr. Ray joined the Dulles-based company two years ago, as senior vice president for finance and planning. He is a 1966 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and holds a masters degree in business administration from Harvard Business School. Before joining Arundel Newspapers, Mr. Ray was president of a newspaper group in California.
