collecting and making the needed arrangements with the fire halls and Santa Claus.
April Heddleston and her Sunday-school class played Santa’s helpers, wrapping and helping people find things. A special thanks also to Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus.
Thanks to Rappahannock 4-H Horse and Pony club and to the Baptist women’s groups.
We also want to thank the Washington Volunteer Fire Department for the use of their building, even though weather conditions caused a last-minute change of plans.
Thanks to the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department for participating as a pick-up point.
Thanks also to Washington Baptist Church for the use of their church when plans had to be changed.
There are a lot of leftover items, including men’s clothing, some smaller sizes of women’s clothes and some children’s. If you have specific needs and were unable to attend, you can call Peggy Banker, 6753563, or Janet Smoot, 987-9029.
Thanks again to all who participated in Support the People.
