We would like very much to thank all the people who made it to the Support-the-People event. The weather didn’t cooperate, but the community certainly did.
With last minute changes in location and time, we really weren’t expecting a large turnout, but plenty showed up. Since we couldn’t set up early, it was really chaotic when we did get started at noon.
One family was so nice, helping us unload the truck.
All the people were really patient and helpful, looking for their sizes in one bag or pile after another. The people who came out to support the program helped to sort and stack as much as we did.
We have a list of people to thank, but those who braved the bad roads and put up with the disorganization to come on out and get what they could use, deserve a big “Thankyou.”
In getting this event together, Brenda Knoll and Ruth Kramer from the Heads Up! 4-H club got it all going again this year. They put in the much-needed time and work. Some of their 4-H helpers were
