Lavinia Y. Barron
Lavinia Yancey Barron, 72, of Viewtown died Dec. 15 at her residence.
She was an elementary school teacher in Rappahannock County for 41 years. She was a member of the Forest Grove Baptist Church, Viewtown.
Survivors include her widower, Leonard R. Barron of Viewtown; one daughter, Deborah Flinchum of Viewtown; three sisters, Sarah Jenkins of Amissville, Juanita Pullen of Jacksonville, FI., and Peggy May of Culpeper; one brother, Earl Yancey of Viewtown and two grandsons.
A graveside service was Dec. 18 in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Jeffersonton, with the Rev. A.C. Walker and the Rev. Sidney Rodriquez officiating.
Moser Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
