I think it was very good to show us the stuff about eagles. It is great to know that we have some people who fight for the perservation of these animals.

Education, plus fun
The mist and the water merged into one as I searched for the morning sun, hidden behind a gray blanket of clouds. It was Sunday, the second and final day of the Rappahannock-Madison 4-H canoe-camping trip.
The day before, we had all piled into a van, with people we knew little to nothing about and began this uncertain adventure. Being as subtle as possible, we cautiously examined each other. By the time we were ready to brave the river, we had formed a rather close relationship.
Grabbing a partner who we felt would be safe, we chose paddles and canoes, and we were off. The water was cold, and we weren’t too excited about falling in.
Nevertheless, quite a few canoes and their occupants went swimming before the first day was out.
