Hannon receives
national EMT
certification
Vincent Hannon III of Castleton has been certified by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians as a registered EMTParamedic.
The registry is the only nationwide certification board for EMTs and serves to assure the quality of Emergency Medical Technicians, who are licensed to practice by the state in which they live. The paramedic designation is the highest level of certification available to EMTs.
Mr. Hannon is presently the Emergency Services Supervisor for the City of Alexandria, where he has worked since 1976.
He spent 10 years as an Alexandria firefighter and received his certification as a paramedic in 1986. He was also a member of the Hazardous Materials Team from 1982-86.
