Mr. Clatterbuck was a native of Culpeper County and the son of the late Lester and Gussie Mae Shaffer Clatterbuck. He was a Korean War veteran and employed as clerk of the works by Spotsylvania County School Board.
He is survived by his widow, Fannie Smith Clatterbuck; three sons, Gary Michael Clatterbuck of Rapidan, Ronald William Clatterbuck of Vista, Calif., and Craig Thomas Clatterbuck of El Toro, Calif.; a daughter, Robin Lynn Reeves of Dallas, Tx.; a granddaughter, Rebecca Erin Clatterbuck of Culpeper; a brother, Silas Clatterbuck of Orlando, Fla.; and three sisters, Virginia Allen of Arlington, Catherine Rumsey of Rapidan and Margaret Martin of Nanjemoy, Md.
Funeral services were Dec. 18 at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home, with interment in Fairview Cemetery. The Rev. Floyd T. Binns officiated.
