WCDS has auction, raffle
Wakefield Country Day School in Huntly has set Nov. 20 as the deadline for bids in its auction by mail. Items range from $2 cookbooks to a $15,000 sculpture by Frederick Hart, whose statues grace the Vietnam Veterans' Memorial and the National Cathedral.

Also, the school is raffling off two tickets to Super Bowl XXVI in Minneapolis—with the Redskins now 9-0 it could well be a chance to see the 'Skins win their third world championship.
The two tickets, donated by alumnus Wynn Voeks, also include round-trip airfare, hotel accomodations, a hot breakfast and a game jacket. Chances are $10 each and available by calling the . school, 703-635-8555. The drawing will take place Dec. 8.
