liam Burke married Susanna Sweeney, on Feb. 1, 1778. Soon after this marriage William Burke joined the Sixth Virginia Regiment of the Continental Line, commanded by Col. John Green of Fauquier County.
The descendants of William Burke are invited to attend this ceremony and grave marking which will take place at the family cemetery, which is located near Orlean, on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 9. Call 703347-9358.
