today? None other than the esteemed chairman of our local Republican Party. My, what a wonderful example to set for those of us who have some aspirations of becoming involved in the political process.
Let me state that I have recently been actively involved with the local Democrats and have also in the past been supportive of Republican candidates, this being an extension of my personal belief that we as voters should support whomever we feel is the best man or woman for the job, regardless of their or our own political party preferences.
And not being completely naive, I know that the Dems have been involved in their fair share of mudslinging in the past. However, it has become apparent that the Republicans have, in recent years, lowered this art to deeper and more insidious depths. The jabs by Mr. Frazier in his letter illustrate this all too well.
This is a free country and free elections are one of our basic cornerstones. Has anyone ever thought that two opposing candidates might have their own particular plusses and minuses, as opposed to the Republican line of thought, which is that their candidates are ideal and
